Very cool idea for Halloween porch set up

I dont know if some have seen this picture before, i just found it and got all twitterpatted over it for next halloween.....i LOVE the black funeral palour curtains and set up....thinking how cool and how creepy you could do this with lights and some props...im thinking easy.. i want to do something alittle less complicated that what i usually do next year...we have a porch like this. i also have an old pump organ that will be included...lol nice porch and yard.

I remember seeing this haunt somewhere before. Gosh, I wonder if I can remember where. (Not in person. I mean online I have seen an album of photos.) They had some gorgeous props. You are right. That would be a perfect porch display.

i was thinking black plastic as the curtains sprayed with a matt latex pr put a texture on it, to take the shine off and just good ole duct tape or masking painted for the trim on the curtains...too cool...my husband said be neat to find a horse drawn hearse to drive in the neighborhood...in new orleans maybe...hahaha...

I love that house! I too had seen it before and I have it pinned on my Pinterest board. That house was my inspiration for adding "drapes" to my porch last year. I used landscape fabric but next year I'm going to actually bite the bullet and buy many many yards of black twill for better weight and opacity. Here's a pic of what I did last year. It's an awful pic, you can't even see our cemetery...

I love the idea of curtains on the porch. Lots of houses here do white curtains on their porches, I never thought of doing black curtains for Halloween! I love it!
