Not quite sure what you're looking for in particular but just thought I'd mention, when I use a mister in my cauldron (so it looks likes it's steaming/fog) I use tonic water... It glows under black light! What ideas have you used so far? Washing whites in a detergent that makes whites whiter have a brighter effect under black light too.

This idea screams , "DOT ROOM". Use neon colord craft paper to attach to the walls. Not all dots, if you so choose. The room will seem bigger than it really is. We've done it in the past and it's a huge hit.

I've seen this done where the scare actor wears all black with polka dots and they blend right into the wall....Until they jump out and scream....LOL....ZR

Here's an idea that I've been kicking around in my head for a couple of years now... I was thinking of making a blacklight effect where I use it to illuminate a scary hidden image over a normal image and flash the UV in sync (or slightly out of sync) with a lightning effect -- the effect I'm going for is like the Disney haunted mansion portraits. For your haunt with clowns maybe you can modify the idea to create the effect you want with an actor (with UV face paint) or a prop, or painting... I hope to see pics if you choose to use this idea -- and good luck with your charity haunt!

The tonic water one is cool, I think diet tonic water works also (less sticky). As long as it has quinine in it...

I've used the UV hairspray from Party City to spray props that I want to glow, without turning a flourescent color. Like I have this ghost that I wanted to glow under a UV/blacklight, but I wanted to keep the ghost white.

Raydium is onto something. The better UV reactive paints are not visible under conventional light. If you can get your hands on a UV STROBE LIGHT ashull pajnted on an actors face wluld only appear when the strobe is activated...
THAT would be a sight to see.

Well so far what we have are sheets of chipboard painted black with neon painted grid on them. We have pool noodles that are covered with latex paint then painted with neon spray paint and we put strobes on them. Cool thing is the build up of lime on the walls at the site glows too. Hope this helps

It IS a nice effect. The use of various sized glowing dots on the wall would have added the illusion of depth, a sort of 3D thing...
