Universal Joint - Free Moving Limbs
Universal Joint; this is a simple way to make a more freely moving armature. I used some cardboard tubing I found in the dumpster, four screws and round piece of ½ inch wood.
No need to explain step by step, just look at the photos they are pretty self evident. You could use thick walled PVC in you wanted.

The truth is I have not thought of any functional use for it yet, but it has many possibilities.
