So it seems that I live only a half-neighborhood away from a fellow forum member, and only found out about it last night! Shadowcaster came by my yard to see what all the fuss was about; my two sons were escorting their little sister around for ToT, and came upon his awesome yard display, and they began telling him about what I had built in my yard down the hill from him. MINUTES AFTER I had taken down the skeleton crew, here comes Shadowcaster for a look-see. You can only imagine the disappointment I felt for having missed the chance to share my work with a gifted and enthusiastic "kindred spirit"!! We had a lovely chat, during that time finding out we were forum members! Bonus!!
I promised him I'd post pics here of the night's haunt, and we definitely will need to join forces for a broader, neighborhood sized haunt!!
Without further ado, This one's for you, Shadowcaster, and thanks for coming by!!

BTW, Shadowcaster, how many kids did you get to your haunt last night? You're on the main circle / thoroughfare, so I hope you did better than we; maybe 14 ToTr's not including parents / guardians all night.

The pirates looked great all lit up.
So glad you got to meet a fellow haunter and forum member. That would have been the highlight of my night.

Hope that you 2 can concoct some spooky neighborhood haunt.

It was pretty steady...we didn't count so this is a pretty rough guess but between parents and TOTers...I'd guess something in the order of maybe 60 to 80-ish. Scared the whoosh out of a couple parents who didn't see me sneaking up on them from behind. :D It was great! Not huge by the standards of some of the neighborhoods I've seen on the forum but a pretty steady flow. I over-bought on the candy but what the heck, I got stuff I like so the leftovers aren't that big of a problem! ;)

What an awesome looking job Edmund! Very nice, and a shame so few ToTers got to see it.
It really is...what I saw that was still set up looked awesome. Looks like a very pro haunt and EK's costuming was inspirational. Kinda makes me think that next year I have to focus on the costume and adding some good scares and surprises...which means I gotta get started a lot earlier!

Thank you so much for the pix!! Sorry I haven't hit you back sooner...been doing tear down and finally got everything out of the yard and into the garage for
pack-up. These pix are outstanding. It makes me reluctant to put pix of my stuff on here for fear that it would look amateurish in comparison. I kinda hack my stuff from junk laying around, buy some of it and modify it and generally, it looks pretty decent...if you don't look too close. This looks flippin' professional. Next year I WILL get down there to see it before the tear down. Thank you again! Need to figure out some way to vector more kids down your street...this stuff needs to be seen.
