Super creepy. Some dolls are creepy without vocals, but these vocals will put it over the top. I had to stop listening to them, they were creeping me out too badly.

It's also pretty fascinating to think this existed back then. But even then the kids were creeped out by them. Think of a scary version of the automaton from the movie Hugo.

I can see how some of those could be found disturbing, but I could not quit laughing, which only reinforces just how off I am...:D

I can see why.

A little kid would not be able to speak as loudly as was maybe required back then,so a woman, pretends to be a kid and it sounds bizarre!
Maybe because she's trying too hard? 1890! Wow!
