So I debated on getting a plastic printer..cost of course being foremost in mind.. instead I ended up buying stuff !

What I found in many of the printers is size is definitely the problem..you would need to print dozens.. sometimes 30 pieces to make one decent size prop..low cost of 3-d printers start at around 300 for materials and printer..Too often, getting a low-cost 3D printer means getting a box of ill-fitted parts with poorly written and incomplete documentation. To me, putting together something that I built, versus a machine, just brings more joy and satisfaction.
