First off, no reason to be embarrassed. Keep in mind that every person on here had a "first year" too. I can tell you that my very first display looked no where near as good as yours does. One thing I am impressed with is your lighting. That is very tough and you you a great job highlighting all of your props. As someone else suggested, making some sort of reusable overlay for your column would go a long way. You might also want to consider investing in a fog machine. You have a great space for a smaller area and you could really do a lot with it. Keep up the good work.
