Okay, some of you may have seen a bit about this in the Secret Reaper thread...bethene made an awesome Ghostly Lady head and gifted her to me as a SR gift...along with some skeletal arms/hands and some material.
My husband and I built a PVC frames for her out of 1 1/4 inch PVC pipe and fittings...this is the first pvc prop we have made. Her outstretched arm is bent a little, but it's hard to see in this pic at this angle...
I for got to take a pic, but i used industrial heavy, thick plastic bubble wrap to fill out the chest/rib cage area a little.
Using the silky and tulle materials bethene sent me, plus an old, white graduation gown I picked up at Goodwill, I made her some layered, shredded gowns and a hooded cloak. (...again, a bit hard to see all the layers and shreds in these pics, but they are there, lol. It looks cooler in person when you can see the detail in all the white on white material) I added a silver jewel at the neck as a clasp for the cloak. I also painted the lower frame black and gray to help hide it, though it's still white in this pic.
Then, we tried out lights on her...black light was first. Love the glowing look, but you can't see her face clearly...
Finally, we tried the blue spot light bethene also sent...love how it lights up her face:
Still trying to figure out which light to go with...leaning towards blue. She will be added into our cemetery closer to Halloween.
