Okay, some of you may have seen a bit about this in the Secret Reaper thread...bethene made an awesome Ghostly Lady head and gifted her to me as a SR gift...along with some skeletal arms/hands and some material.

Skull Skeleton Ghost Hand Fiction

My husband and I built a PVC frames for her out of 1 1/4 inch PVC pipe and fittings...this is the first pvc prop we have made. Her outstretched arm is bent a little, but it's hard to see in this pic at this angle...

I for got to take a pic, but i used industrial heavy, thick plastic bubble wrap to fill out the chest/rib cage area a little.
Using the silky and tulle materials bethene sent me, plus an old, white graduation gown I picked up at Goodwill, I made her some layered, shredded gowns and a hooded cloak. (...again, a bit hard to see all the layers and shreds in these pics, but they are there, lol. It looks cooler in person when you can see the detail in all the white on white material) I added a silver jewel at the neck as a clasp for the cloak. I also painted the lower frame black and gray to help hide it, though it's still white in this pic.

Then, we tried out lights on her...black light was first. Love the glowing look, but you can't see her face clearly...

Blue Clothing Cobalt blue Electric blue Outerwear

Finally, we tried the blue spot light bethene also sent...love how it lights up her face:

Still trying to figure out which light to go with...leaning towards blue. She will be added into our cemetery closer to Halloween.

I was literally going to write to ask how you did it, but you already made a post!

I like how eerie it is. Or maybe just the trick of the light.

That looks phenomenal! You, your husband, and bethene make a great prop-assembling team!
Maybe someday you can rig the lights to fade in and out between the two effects. Both are excellent!

Lol, I was considering using both lights, somehow.

Thanks, everyone! I can't wait to get her set up in my graveyard!
Isn't there a light switch that can alternate between the two lights? I bought one last year thinking of trying a scrim reveal. I forget what the thing is called though. I'll have to look for it.

ETA: Here's the thread with the light fade thingy! Maybe you can find a switch from that that will let you use both lights.

I would love to know how Bethene made that. I LOVE IT!!!
Not sure what it would look like, but there's those kaleidoscope lights which project moving light patterns. Last year we used one on our reaper and actually used a second light to soften it because we felt like it was too strong.

It'd probably be a total fail, but might be fun if you have one kicking around to see how it would interact with the blacklight.

Other than that, you could probably put both lights side by side and then rig something mechanical to block one or the other. Or put a cuff on the blue light to focus it primarily on the face with the blacklight filling in the rest. Not sure if that would work either.

Regardless of what you do - it looks incredible.

I have one, I'll try it when she's put outside around Halloween. It's packed somewhere, atm. I used to use it aimed at the house for ToT. I have green spotlights this year that will be lighting my cemetery...so we will see what lights work well with what when it's all set up.

Great looking prop!

If you have a pin type light that can be narrowly focused, use that to light up the face and the black light for the body. If not the strobe sounds like a great alternative or alternating between the 2 lights could give an interesting look. The kaleidoscope lights would also be interesting to see.

Yes she is! That is why she is our Reaper Queen, lol. ;) ...and thanks!

I had that thought, too...finding a small light for her face and using the black light for the body. Right now, I'm about out of cash to buy any more lighting, so I will just use what I have for this year, but for next year I may try something like that. Really, with the green spotlights that will be highlighting the cemetery stones already, it may be possible her face will light up a bit with that, so we will see.

Everyone is giving good ideas for lighting her. This is my first year really adding lighting to my cemetery, so it will take me this season to figure out how it all looks best. I have had the cemetery set up a few years now, but just recently bought spot lights and such. My front yard it tiny, so there is only so much I can squeeze in there, lol. Any lighting fixtures I add will be very noticeable, so I don't want to add too much. Someday I'll hopefully have a bigger front yard to play with!!
This will be our first year for a haunt and we are going with a swamp theme but I have got to save this idea for next year when we will (hopefully) add in some tombstones and create a cemetery. Can't wait to see the whole setup!!
