Alright, here's a fun one. As part of my mad obsession with cataloging Halloween CDs, I thought it'd be fun to take a bite out of what is seemingly the most ubiquitous modern disc, this one. It seems to usually be sold on cardboard sleeves, and sometimes has the word "effects" spelled wrong.
As far as I can tell, these seem to be even cheaper (and slightly extended) versions of the old Halloween Sounds of Horror CDs, of which there are two unrelated versions. There's this one (the heartbeat one), and this one, which is seldom ripped off as far as I can tell. They were both most notably (likely not originally) produced by a company called Viderex, but now seem to be manufactured in China in several different versions, both generic and branded (such as the Scarewear release, which itself seems to have come in multiple different versions, as I've seen releases with the heartbeat track and the other one), and distributed by random cheap decoration companies like Danson Decor and Link Products.
If you have a version of this CD, take pictures of it! Let me know what's on it! This is like the bottom of the barrel of intrinsically worthless Halloween junk, and it fascinates me.
