Tell me about cheesecloth

3071 Views 12 Replies 9 Participants Last post by  Nixer
I've read about all of the wonderful things you can do with cheesecloth in your haunt, but I had no idea there would be so many options when it comes to buying the stuff. There are different grades and colors, it seems to come in rolls or in bags, and it's available in all sorts of sizes.

Anyone care to offer me tips on what cheesecloth to buy?

Thanks in advance for helping the noob!

Home Depot has cheesecloth rather inexpensive. Plus it is great to strain the particles in the peanut oil after cooking a deep fried turkey. Always use 100% pure peanut oil, you will recover 99% of your oil as it does not go into what you are deep frying.Try using peanut oil the next time you cook up some brains, great taste, no oil.
