I am trying to make my own version of spirits swinging skeleton boy prop. I have everything but need some ideas on what would make it swing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Trying to save some money this year.

So I've done something like this before. I'm not sure what you can get your hands on, but we used windshield wiper motors.

Look at the thrift stores for old 4 legged battery operated baby swings. The mechanism is fairly easy to hack for your purpose.

That was my thought or the old crank ones but those are like 30 years old so I don't think I will find one of those...lol.

I also thought about a rotating fan motor but I don't think it would be strong enough to do it.

The windshield wiper motor, what else would I need with that to make it work? Dumb it down for me please..lol
