Super quick/cheap rotten pumpkins (no carve)

Super quick/cheap rotten pumpkins. I didnt take any photos of the process, but it was pretty easy. Some of the techniques I used were from people that paper mache after they stuff and tape them but I didnt have time for all that.... I used plastic bags of different sizes (grocery and large department store, kitchen would work too). I stuffed them with balled up newspaper, pretty full and tie the top. Tape the bottom of the bag with masking tape while pinching the corners towards each other to make it more pumpkin shape. Shape the pumpkin lines one at a time and use masking tape to hold/make the lines. Use more masking tape to cover the handles or tied off top for the stem, add another plastic bag if you want a longer stem. Cover the entire pumpkin & stem with 2-3 layers of clear plastic (plastic corpse method). Then carefully take your heat gun and start to melt the plastic until it tightens up and becomes the shape you want. Its ok if some of the plastic melts holes and you can see the newspaper in spots. Once cooled, cover the entire pumpkin with a dark stain and wipe/dab some off. Make sure to get the holes with the exposed newspaper. After its dry, use dry brush to paint with acrylic paint. You dont need to cover paint the entire thing, allow some of the darker color to show (especially around the pumpkin creases). Here are several I did in one day. These are not the kind you can carve, but look good in a pumpkin patch or quick fill needs.
