Does anyone know of a good tool that will cut .20 styrene sheets other than a razor knife? I want to cut a 48" wide sheet cleanly and evenly.

I have a hot wire foam factory bow tool that cuts across a 48 inch panel pretty slick....I've seen a bunch of home made hot wire tools on youtube lately but not sure if there is one that long.....Have to look.....As far as clean and straight, I can't do it freehand....I have to put wood on the sides as guides for the wire to rest on as it cuts down through.....That's the best option I've found so far....ZR

Depending on the kind of cuts you want to make, a bandsaw or a table saw with a laminate blade both produce accurate, straight cuts in styrene.

It just occurred to me I might be able to cut the sheets with a metal cutter/bender I have. I gotta dig it out of storage but I think it might cut 48" inches.

Hot wires are really good if you can get your hands on one.
