Keeping up with our different theme every year - well of course we had to choose STAR WARS! I'm a total SW nerd and our target market (trick or treaters) will be totally loving this year's plan. We started back in December of 2015 and have been busy ever since.

Fictional character Pc game Games Action-adventure game Hero

Here's a sneak peak of some our builds so far - shhhh! Don't tell the neighbors ;)
There's much more to come - so stay tuned!

Oh - and check out our new website at: FrightMaker.com

That Vader costume reminds me of one I put together in the 1980s. I pieced it together over a five-month deployment to NAS Sigonella, Italy, and on Halloween night, there I was running around Sicily in a full-up Vader costume from the helmet to the boots.

When we came home, we had to go through a customs inspection at NAS Jacksonville, and the first box I put up for inspection had parts of my Vader suit in it. The gal from customs asked "what's in this box?" and I said "A Darth Vader suit." She laughed and said "sure it does... open it up." When I opened the lid there was the cape, shoulder armor, helmet, and chest and belt packs. I asked if she wanted me to open the rest of my stuff, and she asked if I had anything illegal. I said no, and she said "I believe anything you tell me now. Have a nice day." :)

That is hilarious! A new loophole discovered in our security procedures - confuse and distract with Star Wars props! Great story!

Yes they look pretty authentic!! Your workshop is my envy too.
Hey Matrix Mom! Glad to see you again! How did 2015 go? Amazing as always I'm sure - we had a great time with our Pirate theme last year and had a blast. Neighbors wouldn't leave until almost midnight and I was running to pull everything in before the rain hit. All in all was good!

We should start a workshop thread - it would be great to see everybody's set up (and working messes) :) Does one already exist?
