spider web help

I'm looking for a tutorial on making a spider web, I've tried the search engine and it only brings up stuff about spiders, no webs. I'm just wondering if anyone has done one, it's seems simple enough in theory.
Thank You

Check out Youtube, Stiltbeast Studios has a tutorial and I'm sure there are others as well. Hot glue and compressed air seems to be the ticket.

I might be looking into the beef netting effect this year. Big webs based on how you cut the material.

I used clothesline to build a 40 foot web. I never made a tutorial..... t depends on the shape of the web too.
Mine is triangle shape so that was very easy to make. The 6 or 8 sided web would be harder.

although you'll need an air compressor and a ton of glue sticks, it's my opinion that this yields the best results, at least i get the effect that i'm after, so ymmv

and once you get an air compressor you'll want to get into airbrushing and eventually pneumatic powered animated props

Yup, i went ahead and bought a web caster gun last year. was going to make one but never got around to. it worked pretty well but my compressor wasn't high enough psi so i stopped using it. I got a new 150 psi compressor that should work with it this year. I need to get it out of storage and give it a test.

Walmart has the best deal I've found for the long glue sticks. $6-$7 for a big pack of them.

I will have to go through photos,to see if I took any, but I made one using a trampoline and florescent painted clothes line. Just weaved around till it looked good. I may even revisit the method this year.

I always want to do webs but the usual stuff gets so gross and I really want something reusable so it doesn't seem so wasteful. Is the beef netting reusable & or washable?
I plan on reusing the beef netting webs I made last year. I rolled them up neatly and don't think it should be hard to hang them up again.
