This doesn't seem quite right to post this here, but I don't think I can post it elsewhere, so here it is. :)

I am an AVID Halloween (and all things horror related) enthusiast, which seems a pale word to describe it, but... yeah. :)

We had had large grand-scale Halloween parties going back to 1993? 94? But would only do them if we could do them right, and at some point that required being able to start building in August and work throughout. I work in the movie industry (doing payroll, nothing fascinating, alas!) and it consumes all of my waking hours when I am on a project. I also have M.S. and I'll be 50 next month (Oh my GOD!!! When did that HAPPEN!?!?)

So, it's with a very heavy heart that I realized that the LARGE Halloween inventory that has been filling my garage, two sheds, up to 3 spare rooms really needs to go to someone who would love these things as much as I, and my brother and sister in law, did.

I would estimate I have spent probably a good $10,000 on the handful of parties we had since 1993. My inventory isn't all of that cost, but it is probably the bulk of it. It's not worth nearly that much, but since I'm also struggling to hold on to my house alone, it would be great if I could also sell some of my vast collection of stuff.

But I cannot mail or send it.

So, the point of this silly long post, besides an introduction, as I cannot recall if I've ever posted here in the last 20 years or so, is to see if there are any people who would be able and willing to come here to purchase. I'm in the middle of inventorying and photographing items, but realized it would be far smarter to first try to decipher if there is, in fact, any haunters who are local and might be interested.

There are some nice (if older) foam latex props, several Bucky skulls we corpsed out ourselves (and possibly a Gore Galore corpsing kit), as well as... just tons of stuff, I have to get into it all. I counted like 37 tubs/boxes when it was in storage and that isn't counting the things in the shed, I can't recall how many boxes are still in there, but a bunch of various gravestones and such and gargoyles, etc., are in there. Too bad I broke down and broke down my first monster mud creation, Mort, a few years ago, but he was from 2001. It turned out he wasn't as fragile as he looked, when it came time to break him down, wow, that was a lot of work.

So back I go to my task, but if anyone here fits the criteria, it would be great if you could let me know somehow. If it's not appropriate here, if you could direct me to where it would be (I looked at a couple of moderators but the last posts were 2015 and 2019 so I decided to ask the group vs. try that first.

Thank you so much for anyone who has the time to answer, and hope you are all having a great weekend!
