A whole bunch of someones, actually.

Usually, I am the first in town with decorations out, but not this year.
Technically, I've had a few small things up in the backyard for awhile, but only put one small thing out front last week.

Some look like they have their whole setup out! I'm slacking this year, I guess. Time to start sneaking things out!

It's official.

Halloween is now a season, as welcome and popular as Christmas.

Don't think of this as being beaten to a deadline, think of it as your inspired community hoping to make their muse proud. ;)

A home on my street has a small fence up with skulls on it. When I drive by I keep hoping to see more, but so far, just the fence.

I personally don't want to start yet, but I am happy to look at other's people's props.

I guess I am down with OPP- Other People Props.

It must feel good to know you have another halloween obsessed person near you.

So I stopped in front of the "best" house down the street yesterday, to take a picture. Unfortunately, my camera (phone) was not cooperating, and apparently the people were home, and hopped up off the couch to see who was outside trying to take pictures, haha. Ooops. I just left, because I felt weird about it...then I felt weird about leaving. Anyway, no pix, but I went out after dark last night with our dog, and they have a bunch of bright purple LED light strings up, too!

I put up just a few little things, because I'm afraid of theft and weather damage.

Maybe you inspired them. In my HOA, they do a (very political) Halloween house of the month and I have yet to win. Maybe because the guy (who typically wins) has better decorations, nah, he is just friends with the board. Think of it as friendly competition.

I was driving home yesterday and it took a second to sink in what I was looking at when I passed one house - it was a coffin so perfectly weathered that it looks like it had been outside forever - and a nice collection of headstones! I will totally be going home that route tonight and will stop and check it out! I don't remember anyone along that road decorating in the past.....

I'm starting set up this weekend. Normally I'm not allowed until after the Spawn's birthday (which is Sunday) but she's going to be engrossed with Homecoming festivities and probably won't care if the cemetery starts appearing!

A couple of neighbors down the street got some lights and jack o lanterns out last week, I was a little disappointed not to be the first house with decorations out but I know I'll be the house with the most decorations out!!
