I decided since I'm doing a voodoo swamp theme this year I would make some tiki torches. This was my first attempt at corpsing anything also. So now how would I creep up the torches.

They look great creeped up. What stain did you use on them? Great look for your voodoo theme.

BTW were you planning on using fuel sourced lantern fluid inside of them and actually lighting? If so, I'd wonder if the heat from the fuel source metal can wouldn't cause the plastic touching the metal to melt.

I just painted the skulls and the tiki torches were that color when I bought them. I am planning on using torch fuel but the skull actually doesn't touch the canister at all it's on the bamboo still.

Yea it was pretty quick and I got a great deal on the torches at local grocery store.

I bought several skull tiki torches on clearance from Spirit several years ago and thought those looked pretty good. Have to say yours with your paint job look better and more realistic. I like the color of your bamboo. It's not the typical blonde color.
