here's a skull pillar I've been working on for a couple months. It's three feet high. I'm still needing to age and paint it. On top will be a faux cauldron. Feedback? Ideas? Thanks you masters of the morbid arts! Tree Plant Trunk Wood

I ended up making them for price savings. Thanks
you can make many skulls on the cheap with great stuff foam & a skull jelly mold ... i got the molds from walmart last halloween ...

take a look at my thread => http://www.halloweenforum.com/halloween-props/140413-great-stuff-foam-comparison.html
and you'll see what i'm talking about

btw a good mold release is "personal lubricant" that you can get from walmart on the cheap ... its water soluble so it helps the foam cure as well as making it easier to pull the skull out

i think i'm able to get 8, or was it 10, maybe 12 (?) (i forgot as i haven't made any if quite some time),skulls out of a can of great stuff

I used great stuff for a couple, the only downfall was curing time. It takes about 5 days before you can pop them out. I loved the different textures and looks it created. With the pour foam I can get more as I only use 1-2 tbsp and they're ready in about 40 minutes. I can make almost as many as I want a day. And I also use personal lubricant, aka petroleum jelly.
Pour foam? New to me and would love to know more about it. Your pillars are great by the way.

It's a marine product, I think used in boats and what not. It comes in about a quart size with two parts, a and b. You mix equal parts of each, stir for 30 seconds or so, then pour into your mold and it expands! It's great. I can send you a pick of the bottles of your interested. Thanks

Very cool. What are your skulls made from?
