This is my pneumatic version of a Skelly Coffin Groundbreaker. It's a work in progress, static portion is complete, still have to do the controls and audio.
Top of the coffin is 42", the top of the skelly's head is at 3 feet. He's mounted to a 4-bar linkage that when triggered, he jumps out and up to 6 feet to the top of his head. He only comes forward enough to clear the coffin so you can literally be standing about a foot in front of the coffin and he ends up right in your face. I'll post a video when he's finished, can't wait to unleash this one.

Spent a good part of the day on the controls, didn't think I would have it working this fast but here it is in action. Not sure if I'm staying with this audio but it'll do for now.

Reminds me of the ScareParts pneumatic I had

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mAxdNO9gNk

Wish I didn't sell it.....I like the height your getting from the ground, I had to elevate mine up about 3 feet so when it activated it went up over people....It wasn't very impressive at ground height......Great job!....ZR

Hey thanks ZR! A 4-bar mech is tricky but it can do wonders when you get the geometry right.

That should scare some people for sure.

Oh yeah! Can't wait!
what size cylinder r you using?
The cylinder is 1-1/4" bore, 10" stroke operating at 45 psi.
Wow, wasn't expecting it to completely pop out! Is it triggered by a PIR near it? A scare cam on Halloween would make for some fun footage. Awesome work!

Thanks!
It's actually on a remote so I can pick and choose my victims!

Mission accomplished! Yeah, in person when you're standing about 2 feet in front of it, it's a pretty darn good scare!

THAT is FREAKIN' AWESOME! Looks great and is going to be a great scare! Why can't Spirit sell still like this? I would totally buy it and put it up front in my cemetery.

Great job, J-Man!

Thanks! To be honest, a prop like this is way out of Spirit's league. You have to go to Scare Factory or Poison Props and drop 2 to 3K to get something like this.
