Skeleton leggings

I bought a pair of skeleton leggings at Kroger. They looked neat and opaque in the package but when I tried them on they looked a bit see through. :( I was wondering whether or not I should return them. I think they were a bit pricey for not being opaque. It's more like whether I can work with them or not. I could wear them with a longer dress or tunic but doesn't that defeat the purpose of showing them off? Should I just wear dark boy shorts under the tights and call it a day/night? :/ What would you do? And does anyone know if Kroger would still accept these kinds of returns if they have been tried on?

Bummer!

Why not wear a pair of thin opaque tights underneath the leggings?

Thats what I would try. But the tights underneath should probably be a slippery material like spandex so that the skeleton tights will slip over them without tearing.

I'm assuming they're a pantyhose material?

They were polyester and spandex. Do you still think it would be breathable to wear?

I found a pair of nylon cotton spandex mix tights.. think they would work?
