Silt Fence??

Does anybody use silt fence as their fencing or barrier in their haunt? I was thinking of using it for my woods walk thru since it's cheap, rolls up, and the wooden stakes are already attached. The only problem is that it doesn't exactly scream Halloween or creepy. So I was just wondering if anyone uses it or anyone has any ideas of how to make silt fence creepy or more Halloween like? Please keep in mind I'm using about 80' of it. Thanks!

I wasn't even sure what it was until I just looked it up. It's black so will it even be very noticeable at night? I think it will just disappear for the most part.

If there are some areas where people will be very close to it, you could put something in front of or behind it to distract them from the fence. Tombstone peepers might be kind of cool to set up in a couple of places. You could also have skulls or masks looking over, along with a pair of hands gripping the top of the fence. It could be as simple as a pair of gloves draped over the top in some places.

Yeah, it will mostly disappear, didn't really think about that. It's going to line the path thru my woods for my walk thru so nobody goes into the woods and messes with any props etc... Some good ideas, but I'm sure if I put anything like that right on the fence or just behind it, somebody will mess with it.

Check out this creepy item! It would surely add some spooky element to your fence.

Never thought of lining the silt fence with scene setters, that's a possibility, thanks. Although the pathway is about 80' long, so that would be a total of 160'..that's a lot of scene setter. May look into it though. Thanks.
I have considered using this as a wind break for fog.
Seeing as how it is dark, and if it is like what I have here, once the stakes are pounded in I would be afraid someone might trip over it ( although since you are not actually burying the edge in a trench like if you were using it to direct water, it might set a little taller than I am thinking.) You could maybe use some GID paint or tape to make it stand out a little?
We use visquine to line our haunted trail, but that's a little different. It may be fun to fancy up some cheap dollar store hands and stick them in sporadically. They would ensure people see it and stay back at the same time.
