The best and safest thing that would really work to give it a wet look would be a clear coat of silicone, applied with an airbrush. Preferably the same kind of silicone that the mask is made of. That would give it a glossy sheen. Typically when the masks are painted, they come out looking very glossy naturally, and they have to knock back the gloss with a powder that the silicone absorbs to make it look more matte.
What company did you purchase it from? Or did you make it yourself?
If you've never painted silicone before, I'd suggest asking the company you bought it from if they can take it and give it a glossy coat. Also, specify if you want the entire mask glossy, or only certain spots.
Other than that, you might want to just repeatedly spray some clean water on the mask. Sounds kinda silly but the water won't damage it or the paint job at all.
Tried my hand at making some columns/pillars to spice up my cemetery fence. I only made two because of time constraints, but I plan on making more for next year. Any feedback would be appreciated!
also, I bought one skull at Michaels yesterday without knowing what I was going to do with it...
Just curious if any knows of a fix/ work around for the ridiculous design for the triggering mechanism. They look great but are otherwise useless for the interactivity feature. Thanks

To help plan, organize and let my helpers know what I'm talking about, a few of my props have earned names. The tombstones are pretty obvious, the names are carved right on them like Abbey Normal and Hans Delbruck (watch Young Frankenstein!). But I'm talking about my BIG props.
I recently purchased a pair of Talking Cherub animatronics from Spirit Halloween's 2013 season.
They plug in with two cords; an ac adapter that connects them to the power source - and another that seems to be a 7 pin rectangular cable cord that connects the two cherubs to each other...
Has anyone seen this prop or made it?
It's not scary, just real funny.
I used to have a picture of it and wanted to make it but now I can't find the picture or how to make it!!! =)
For those of you who don't know, or maybe the title of the thread threw you off.......
It's made from 2...
