I wanted to try and make some apple shrunken heads this year. Has anyone here done that?
Has anyone tried it with other fruits or vegetables? I was wondering if something like an acorn squash would work.

I've made a few with apples. Squash might work, but they might rot before they dry. Not much to lose by trying!
These are from a couple years ago, but off season, I keep them in a jar in the freezer so they aren't bothered by humidity:

Rearranging pictures doesn't seem to be one of the edit options. After the first couple albums, I've learned to load pics in reverse order, but I didn't take time to delete and re-load the older ones.
