screaming lady in chair prop questions...

...hey there folks, SHADOW OF DEATH here...going ambitious this year and working on the screaming lady in a chair prop...already have the scissor device figured out...not sure about the base as of now, but it looks pretty ease to fab up...i am still trying to figure out the operation of the head and the arm/s...not sure if those operations are pneumatic or electric...also trying to figure out the sound projection for the prop....if anyone has any ideas....or better yet, have gone off the deep end and purchased one, i would appreciate any and all help you could give....working on an idea to run all operations off pneumatics, but not sure...i will be using a pico boo device to control it, just not sure of which one yet...i know this thing can be built for under $2500...thank you all in advance for all the help!...

p.s. here is a link to the prop:

My friend bought one for his haunt it should be in August before he gets it some one made it for him it will be different then the video though. The person building it said it would be much faster. Id love to see your any progress pics?
...I will post pics and vids as it progresses!...I have already thought about re-designing it to make it a custom build!...I want to throw my own twist into it and make it something that is personal and will scare the cr*p out of both the kiddies and the parents too!...thinking it will be easier to move the whole chair and move the prop from a solid surface (the chair)...not sure yet, but will add to the thread as I go...if you care to input, it is always welcome!...
OMG that prop! Fantastic!

Still, I could pay an actor $100 to sit in that chair and do the same thing....

Not like that, that's for sure! But they won't take up space in my attic 11 months a year either. :)

...hey there folks, sorry I dropped off, but this prop build is quite the brain cell burner calculating all the movements...lets go back and start at the beginning!...I am controlling this with a picoboo max controller...

...the scissor and the chair were pretty simple to fab up...

...after that it pretty much went out the door and many beers were consumed from there on on out!...first we framed out the bottom and launch platform for the scissor...

...next, I added sound and figured out that 10 wire leads need to run to the front to control all the valves and also for the sound...I attached the chair to the framing just to keep it all in place and keep it from jumping around...I also added the pneumatics needed to make the head come up from the resting position...

...finally I added the head assembly and pneumatics for its movement...and yes, I did get the mask for a good price locally...

...I am still working on the shoulders and arms....I plan to make both arms work together and extend the props reach to almost 7 feet!...this has been a real project that should not be taken lightly!...there is a lot of engineering and fabrication just to make this one fly!...If you have questions, I will try to answer them when I can...if you really want an adventure this is the prop build for you!...and on another note, the witch in the cell (bookkeeper, wife, cohort in all my evil plans) dropped a bomb on me and told me to upgrade my compressor for the build!....I am keeping all receipts for the build and I guarantee that I can beat the price to buy the prop outright!...I will try to update a wee bit more than I have to keep it all fresh!...
