I built a scene for our haunt that basically people will enter the room and there will be 5 doors to choose from. The room is 12'x12' and the doors are equally spaced apart. I'm looking for ideas how to decorate the room and also things we could do behind each door to give a good scare. Of course, one of the doors will be the correct door that will lead them to the next scene in our haunt.

Theme of your haunt? Possible have a dead end door (i.e. wall/divider behind it- you can write dead end in red paint or glow in the dark paint -depending on lighting options) so that you only have to come up with 4 ideas.... do you have live actors to help with scare or are you thinking more mechanical props or static props?

What about keeping it really simple, by painting room black and just having the frames around the doors glowing, something like the pic below. It will be a confined space, and dark which unsettles people before they even start. If you had some really creepy sound effects playing like footsteps, whispering your guests wouldn't know if anyone else was in the room with them.

you could replicate the IT movie for this one.

not sure if the spoiler tag is going to work but here goes. if not look away people who ain't seen it.

The movie had the kids in a room in a dilapidated house that when they turned around the one door out had turned into 3 and they had "Not scary at all", "A little scary" and "Really scary" written on them in blood. Just adjust for 5 doors instead of 3.

Really liking everyone's responses. Thinking also having some led flicker candles between each set of doors. Little to no light.

You could fill the room with doors like a fun house. In a 12 x 12 room that would be 4 doors per wall. Mount the doors like picture frames, some fasten solid to the wall, most would swing open. A few would have nothing but wall behind them or props and a mirror behind one could be fun and you've seen the bottomless pits people make, how about what looks like an endless hallway. Some would have openings to hallways that would lead to other doors back into the room or to the hallway right before u enter the room thru a hidden panel and one that leads out to the rest of your haunt. To make it harder to find the exit put the door knob on the hinge side of the exit door so when they pull on it seems solid. Biggest thing is they look like they are all the same weather solid or opening behind them.

you could use blue LED bulbs to fill the room. makes a very dim and creepy light or op for black light florescent units. Walmart used to sell em but you can get em on the net as well. Plug in or the battery type often come in packs that could light a larger space. Illuminate using black light paint.
