Hello,
I have been given a fogger machine, model “Kool Light DMX 1500”, but it has no remote control.
I need an ON/OFF wire so I can plug it in directly to an controller.
Does someone have a diagram to manufacture an ON/OFF wire with a 5-pin din wire connector?
I’ve seen this in a Chinese site, but the minimum order is 20 units and I only need one.

Thank you in advance.

What you are looking at is a DMX input. This is not a simple analog on/off switch there will be a chip inside the controller to send a DMX signal to the unit telling it to fire.

The good news is you have a DMX fogger! This can be automatically controlled without human input. I use DMX foggers in my show as the computer will trigger them on demand.

I can't promise it's the same but it looks eerily like an Antari or a private label MEC. There aren't that many actual fog machine manufacturing facilities so a lot of the fog machine models share the same parts.
I think you may be able to get a controller for one of these makes and have it work without have to play to get something to work.

I think this is your fogger

Here's an Antari.

Here's a MEC (Music Express Canada)

If interested, here's the link to Music Express Canada as it may be possible to contact them regarding purchasing a remote.

You could also contact Antari but the MEC was exceptionally less expensive and their foggers had exactly the same specs as the Antari.

I purchased a 1200W MEC in 2012 and absolutely love it! At the time is was about $200.00 less than Antari's compatible model
