Recessed Lighting opinions please!

I have a LOT of those stupid recessed lighting can fixtures. Usually I use green light bulbs in my lamps, but these recessed lights seem to be a problem. Any great AND CHEAP ideas are welcome. Right now I am thinking of using a colored celophane film if I can find any. :confused:
