Received my Fearfx Decorating Kit

I have received my kit and overall pretty happy with it. I just did a quick test with my Casablanca Collection pale grey chiffon for the Halloween loop and seems to show fine. I didn't have the fabric exactly all stretched out so you may see some of the folds in the fabric. It's not a fancy set up as this was a quick test run and there was no lighting behind it. Without the curtain it showed up great on the plain white wall too. I have a little work to do to get it perfect. Maybe I will put a dim orange light in the background once I have the curtain near in the window. There were a bunch of other Halloween clips which came out perfectly clear.

The Santa loop was better than I expected, pretty colorful, and again this was not shot on anything fancy just the bathroom door which has some ridges on it and beige wall. I think once I use the regular shower curtain for that one it will look excellent.

I think I will be keeping the kit, I just have to make a few adjustments to get it right.

Looks good! Thanks for posting these! You are front projecting in the GhostlyApparitions video, is that right?

Yes from the front. Next I have to set up my window and test that way. I haven't played around much with the menu on the projector but im guessing I should be able to flip the video around for doing the window projection.

Can't say for sure as I don't have that projector, but you should be able to. Not that it is really necessary unless your going to loop in words.

i plan on downloading the young girl apparition, hopefully it is easy to do and add on the sd card with the rest of the clips.

That looks great. Does it say anywhere on the projector who manufactured it? Model number, or any other details?

Hi it only says model number 75050 and made in China. I did a search on Google with the model number and on about the 2nd page of search it popped up on the Alibaba site the projector actually says WindowFX on the projector and has the same picture on the box as the kit I have. The same exact thing.

I got mine yesterday and tested it out, for the price I think it works really well. We are displaying ours on our front window. The window projection material that they give wasn't large enough to cover the entire window, but I heard shower liner works pretty well. Mind you, I have never used a projector before, so this was pretty preliminary.

Get a cheap WHITE shower curtain, not a liner and not frosted. Walmart has them for $2

I got mine today and tried it out, the neighbors across the street were thrilled they will get to watch it! It seems to be plenty bright enough even with the front porch light on.

Yes that looks good. I did a second test a little while ago again with my case collection pale,grey chiffon in the window and it showed excellent, I'm impressed. There is more than enough light for a,good picture. I'm going,to get a very dim colored light to put inside the porch and hopefully this will work and give a nice effect. I had to put my camera at an angle because when I put it straight i only have 5 feet to work with from the window to wall and image smaller, going at the angle further down the room seemed to give me much more room and got the bigger image this way, I was surprised it would work so I'm happy.
I also tried out the Santa and that looks excellent as well, will look even nicer with a white curtain in front which I guess I will use the one from the kit for that.

has anyone tried it with the Hollusion Projection Material and outside
I am told by atmos it will work i am going to be trying it mine should be here tommorow

No I went to Joanne's fabric and used the case collection chiffon and seems to work great and much cheaper especially if you use one of their coupons.

I bought the material was not to worried about the price since I wanted it to look like a hollagram should get today I will post up some vids let you guys know how it works out

please post if you can. I'm about to place an order for more fabric as mine isn't big enough for the window and curious to see if that fabric would look nicer.
