Hey all, I bought some severed hands and feet from dollar tree about a month ago and am just now wanting to make them more realistic. I did some searches on here and google but didnt see any straight information, so with the minutes counting down I turn to yall!

What can I do to these to liven them up?

If those are molded from real people parts, it would help to see the detail of the folds and wrinkles and make them more real. Right now the plastic is all cast in a single color.

I would suggest painting everything fleshy a few shades darker (acrylic paint), then going back and dry brushing the lighter flesh shade. If you want to go a step further, dry brush a flesh shade even lighter at the "highest" points — knuckles, ankles, etc.
