Ok guys, I stumbled accross a picture last night that got the wheels in my head turning. Heres the pic

I think someone else on here has made a coffin car prop with a skeleton sitting in the drivers seat on this forum. I just can't seem to find the picture.
Anyways, as of today, this is the next thing on my list to do! I'm super excited!
Anyone have any suggestions? Of course mine will not be motorized but it should be able to roll on the wheels. I'm hoping to use pvc pipe for the exhaust to stick out of the coffin type body. Stick a fog machine inside to come out of the pipes and hopefully a cd player for sound effects.
My family has a bunch of old cars, 67 chevelle, 47 buick and 36 chev chopped coupe, so this should fit right in. I'm planning on calling it the 'rat rod'! Hopefully having a big black rat sitting on the hood.
Let me know what you think!

I love RAT RODS!!!

I always wanted to buy a Rat Rod Model A and then fabricate it into a total death themed car. The ideas i had were awesome but the cash i had was less than awesome. Oh well.

Scarefactory sells one (pricey) but it can give you ideas.

I Was Told...

about a man who had a similair car with a flame shooter aimed out the rear end and he would be paid pretty well to drive in parades exhibiting it's flame effects.
Of course people tell me alot of things.
Like the 57 Chevy with the two hood blisters removed, replaced with blank-firing 30 cal. machine guns. Lots of fun buzzing the crowd on the street corner in Chicago, "just for "Fun"!
I think this "Fun" would be rather fleeting and very expensive, bail, lawyer money, prison time.

More of a Traditional Hot Rod than Rat Rod, but here's a model T that was for sale at the Nationals in Louisville KY last year.

I bet I went back to look at it at least a dozen times, but the BOSS said no....... :( I thought it would look awesome in front of our haunt with a Bucky behind the wheel! It had a ton of sinister little details.
Love the coffin rod, be sure to post up some pics when you get it done!
