I tried to buy some without a prescription this year (because I had in the past) just from a costume store and they informed me that it's actually illegal to sell if you're not a licensed eye doctor or pharmacy! Makes sense though, just didn't even consider it.

Needless to say, I didn't buy new ones this year, but I will. I've just used my old yellow pair so much, got kinda bored with them. I need to get some red ones :)

that's actually inexpensive....my contacts cost upward of 150 each lens....... Call around to eye Drs, some of them will order for you. 9,, sfx used to be great to order from (they required an prescription as well) but they no longer sell to individuals. You don't want a cheap set from a costume shop that doesn't require an exam you'll end up with eye damage.
