Hey All,

First post on the forum and happy to be here.

I have a 1000w fog machine and I have an idea for a mobile prop that requires a power supply. I cant run the fogger from a power output, so need a battery source.

Does anyone have any experience in using a battery type power source for foggers?

cheers

You would need an inverter attached to the battery that exceeds the wattage of the fogger. in most cases the cost is more then what most people want to spend. You can find one cheap however you get what you pay for and a cheap inverter follows that rule to the tee.

it seems most foggers are 120vac through out so you can't even bypass the transformer.

here is another forum post on the subject I found recently looking for the same thing since most DC foggers are above my budget. Way above.
