I am in the process of building a pneumatic ram to make a giant spider leap as patrons of our haunt walk by. This is just the proof of concept, but it certainly did work. Surprisingly, while testing what weight capacity it can move, I was able to use a bright orange gatorade cooler to terrify a friend who came into the room not knowing what I working on.

This is an easy build as long as you have an air compressor. few feet of tubing, a home depot sprinkler solenoid valve, 24V power adaptor, and for extra control, a pneumatic valve. Tighten down all the connections, and add remote control switch for christmas lights, and you're all set.
Just be sure to remove the anti-backflow valve from the bicycle pump!

All fixed. I will post a video of the finished product later this week. Just need to find a good material to hide the electronics.
