This is a completely assembled system consisting of a 20 inch stroke x 1.5 inch bore non-rotating pneumatic cylinder, valve, pressure pad and power adapter. All you need to do is add a mask or prop.

The valve operates on 24vdc, which is why I am including the power adapter.

The cylinder has quick exhaust flow contols mounted on both ends to allow for adjustable fast slamming or slow controlled action.

This set up is used but in good working condition. I personally have used this set-up to create pop-up scare gags from garbage cans, drums, behind bushes and upside down from trees. Masks, heads, props, skeletons or even complete bodies can be used. The uses are really endless. You will see in the picture that I have mounted a plastic top which is what I use to hold a latex mask, which is included (the top, not the mask!).

Ok, so I ended up selling off some of the parts seperately. Seeing I have a few cylinder and valve set-ups left and I just want to get rid of them, here you go!

As seen in the above pictures, you will be receiving a used, but in good working condition, LONG, 20 inch stroke x 1.5 inch bore non-rotating pneumatic cylinder, completely plumbed with speed flow controls, air tubing and valve. The valve is a 24VDC valve that is mounted on the nose of the cylinder. These set-ups can be used to make pop-ups, grave jumpers, flyers, shaking crates/boxes, electricutions, etc.... what ever you can think of!

You will NOT be receiving a power adapter, pressure pad, plastic dome, mask, or garbage can (not that you were receiving the mask or can before).

I bought one of these from Sam and just received it today. I have to say that I'm very pleased. It's in great shape and uses a very robust SMC cylinder. It has plenty of power and will really make my TCT zing. If you've priced out cylinders like this you already know that the price is a smoking deal.

Chugger... you can get power supplies from Home Depot or Lowes. An even better option is All Electronics where they run somewhere around $5. You can trigger it by switching the power or connecting it to a motion sensor. It's pretty easy to do and there is a motion sensor hack in the tutorial section that goes over the process.

I'm so pleased that I'm trying to decide if I can use more! Hmmmm....

You can't beat the price! This and a cheap motion sensor light is pretty much all you need to automate this cylinder.

Just so everyone knows, the valve on my set-up operates at 24VDC not 24VAC.

Sorry! My mistake! The solenoids are at home and this is what happens when one assumes! They are indeed 24vdc. Since it's basically a coil, it should operate on either AC or DC but I'd recommend going with DC to ensure the solenoid isn't damaged.

These are 300ma which is enough to activate the solenoid at operating pressure.
