Hi all. Ordered 2 smaller animated props from Spirit Halloween and one came today, the leaping spider. Works great and will definitely scare but the issue I have is that the motion sensor doesn't work that well if at all, and need a simple PIR sensor that works with the hookup on the prop.
I did order a step mat but with my setup I can't think of a way to hide that mat, and I couldn't find anything online about how to modify the mat for a sensor. All I find on forums is a bunch of posts all explaining how to do a PIR sensor, but never a simple way to wire it. Seems like everyone has a way that works fine, but it is becoming more and more confusing to me.
I know the sensor closes the circuit, in order to activate the prop.
Someone please simply this for me.
