Thanks for the link. I have seen these in action and I would not be happy with it if I was trying to use it for a Halloween projection. Yes you could use it for something small and when its dark but I think the practical uses for a yard haunt would be limited. However not completely non existent, there is a talented group of people that hang out here.

While the pico does have its limitations in terms of brightness (you really have to be able to control the light completely), I've had some great success with small effects.

The big advantage with them is that you can hide the projector in so many ways, and given the opportunity for a very short throw distance, it can be very effective in close quarters.

Certainly not the right tool for a big 'tent pole' effect, but they do have their applications...
