I love witch finger cookies! Many recipes out there are bland and you have to watch out for recipes that have your fingers spreading out too much during baking. I have a good recipe but I'm at the hospital right now and it might take a day or two for me to get around to posting it. Here is a picture of some that I made.

I love witch finger cookies too! I've been trying to do a lot of my baking gluten free the last few years so my food allergy friends could also partake, and I discovered that almond cookies make excellent witch finger cookies, to my taste. I make them pretty slim for safety's sake, but they also have very little spread.

I (roughly) go by the macaroon recipe that comes with almond paste (usually also written inside the label, but here's a link -- http://www.solofoods.com/recipes/almond-macaroons). Or you can use their cookie recipe which yields a slightly more traditional cookie texture (http://www.solofoods.com/recipes/almond-chocolate-chip-cookies).
