my grandfather passed away a few days ago and while I could certainly stay in this big old amazing house that i love dearly if i wanted ... i simply cant afford it. and my house is FAR too small to host even a modest party, I'm afraid. which is why ive never done one.

so sad on so many levels.

so please please excuse me if I'm quieter than usual this season. hopefully after i move back to my home in 2 weeks and get into my routine my spirits will lift. and to add insult to injury, the invitations i had ordered arrived today :/

thank you so much everyone for your kind words. Today was a bad day but hopefully today will be better. Going to MY house and moving out old furniture that will be replaced with items from here.
