In our home haunt this year we did a bunch of painted canvas tarps from Harbor Freight. I think they turned out really good. Some of it was free handed, some with a projector, some airbrushed, some hand painted.
This was my first time ever using a airbrush so don't be too harsh. lol
The tarps were hung all over the place to cover up door ways and such down the halls.
Most of the paints used were regular latex house paints thinned out with water. I mixed them up in water bottles to make all my different colors.
I used a small Harbor Freight gravity fed spray gun for the bigger areas and a cheap Paasche airbrush from Hobby Lobby. With the 40% coupon I think it was like 12 bucks. Along with a cheap little pancake compressor from Harbor Freight.
We did a clown theme this year, but next year we will be doing a asylum theme so the plan is to turn the tarps around and paint something different on the other side. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
