I have a home Automation and Security system in my house (Smartthings), and got a good deal on the Osram Lightify Gardenspots. These are great for lighting yard props. https://www.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-LIGHTIFY-Osram-Gardenspots-Adjustable/dp/B00R1PB2ZY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1476109470&sr=8-1&keywords=Lightify+gardenspot

They are fully RGB adjustable and put off a good beam of light. I used them to light my pallbearer skeletons, you can see the 9 small light on the ground in the picture.

Next year I think I'll use a motion sensor to trip the lights on a prop.

Anyone else use their Home Automation system for their Haunts?

I have been looking into adding those Gardenspot lights to my house recently. I used my Philips Hue lights to also light up my house.

Used a single br30 in the front door which I had scheduled to turn on at sunset

Also used two of my Hue Go lamps. Hard to tell in one of the videos but I had the lights react to sound and change through reds and oranges I had selected. Then I switched to strobe with black light to catch the attention of ToTers.
