I've done some digging around and haven't found a solution for a prop I'd like to build and I'm hoping that someone here may be able to give some guidance.

I'd like to build a vertically oscillating light. A standard garage light would suffice, but I'm not sure how to go about making it rotate up and down. I'm guessing some modification of the standard reindeer motor hack would do the trick, but I was hoping that someone would have a tutorial or step by step.
