I have a simple project but am having quite a time trying to figure out how to do it.

In a nutshell, I have a medium-sized wooden box with two swinging doors (like a mini-barn door). I need for these doors to open and close.

I am using the Light-O-Rama system and so basically, I need the doors to open (about medium speed) when power is supplied and to close when power is cut.

Any ideas for this?

If I was doing it I'd use a dual pole dual throw relay and a couple of limit switches. Apply power to the relay and the contacts supply power to drive the door mechanism open. When the doors are fully open the limit switch cuts off the power to the doors. When you remove power to the relay the normally closed contacts supply power to the doors to close them. When the doors are closed the other limit switch cuts power to the doors. The nice thing about this setup is that the opening or closing can be reversed at any point.

This could also be done with a parking wiper motor and two SPDT relays. No limit switches would be needed with this set up.
