I would just enjoy the adventure and grow organically. Give out King Size candy bars until the number of tots grows too large. I would beef up your lighting and projection game so that anyone near you house will be drawn in like a moth to a flame. We have grown from about a dozen tots seven years ago to about fifty. I like where I am at because we have some down time between visits. Not everyone wants to be on television with lines around the block. :D

I think you will be okay. Believe me, kids talk to other kids about cool Halloween houses and candies. I remember one year when the older kids used their cell phones to call their friends to come over.

I have given out king size candy bars the last 4 years, but I was able to get them for a $1 a piece. I have been unable to locate a store with king size candy under a $1.25 this year. Since I had about 50 last year, I want to get about 75 this year so I might down grade to full size since costco has those all day long for about 60 cents each. But if you only get 10 or less tots then cost is a non-factor.

My only parting thought would be a scare near the walkway or front porch- like a trash can trauma or something. Passive displays are great, but having one or two things leap out at the patrons would really up the game. And it does not have to be some monumental disney production. I remember I put out that Spirit jumping black spider three years ago and the kids went absolutely crazy over it. And to me I was like really its just a cheap store prop. :D
