Hi Guys.
I'm Dave from Wiltshire, England. Been running a small home haunt for the past 3 or 4 years. Mainly home-built static props and light/sound effects mixed with some real life actors, as commercial Halloween props are scarce this side of the pond, and what little is available tends to be very poor quality.
OK..I admit it's become an addiction now and has at one point nearly cost my marriage when my 7ft tall Jason Voorhees prop fell over during transportation pinning my long suffering nearest and dearest to the floor.
I'm looking to get into animatronics now..hopefully without actually decapitating or maiming any family members or TOTT's.
I'll post some pictures of the haunt soon. (unfortunately without the Jason Voorhees prop which was dismantled under supervision the next day...).

LOL! You sound like a kick! Bet your sense of humor kept you alive by your wife :)

I think us guys need a sense of humour, just to try to convince friends and family that we're not totally insane. Actually, it wasn't my sense of humour that kept me alive that day, just my ability to outrun the wife.:D

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, Browsing through the threads, I can see that I'm in the company of some very talented people here.. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and swapping some ideas.
