Hey guys, I'm new here and so far I love this community! Anyway in my haunt this year I'm thinking of putting up a vortex tunnel. I tryed this last year with the ones that are drivin by a pvc pipe on the top, it worked good until the drill motor caught fire.. lol but luckly that was b4 it was open so we ended up hand turnning it. This year im going all out and building them the correct way with the bike wheels, rings, ect... so has anyone attempted this or have any advice? I've searched around the web but couldn't find any solid tutorials. so when i build mine Ill be throwing to gether a nice step-by-step with tons of pics.... but anyway help/ideas would be apperciated.

i hit the army surplus store here in london and came home with a dental mirror, lazer, fan and power supply. excluding the lazer, all the other items were less than $2 each.

compact design, and no drill motors bursting into flames. :)

and in action.

using a fan instead of a motor will help the effect.
i have mine pulling the smoke back to the lazer. it helps visually but also increases the length of the effect in my senerio.
(recirculates the fog)
