Does any one know how to achieve the bouncing bobble-head action for a lurker costume? I want to build one this year but I'm having difficulty figuring out how to produce the free floating bobble movement. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure it is free floating as much as on a single center pivot. Think of a teeter-toter with the center of the wooden beam resting on a single point rather than a bar. Then holding one end you are free to lift, pan, or tilt as you wish. The head on the other end just follows your movements. The center point can be under the board, or hanging from an arch above on a hook depending on you intended use.
You might get a better response posting in the props or tutorials wanted threads, as opposed to costume ideas.
