Ok since i did nightmare before Christmas as my Christmas theme i needed a Zero dog house .

This was my first big project with foam there is some things i will change if i do another one lol one thing is take better step by step pics but i think you will get the idea

first i used a hot knife and cut out dog hose pieces and zero letters and zero head
sand edges this is one area i would make sure was a better fit but live and learn

I used foam board glue to glue it all together i got it at homedepot

once attached i painted with drylock and then i dry brushed on black paint

after that i got grey foam sheets and cut out the shingles and glued them on top

finished now to hold mine down i went with fishing line and tent stakes so far it has done fantastic in the wind

That's one of my favorite things about decorating with a theme. It makes is easy to create traditional items that everyone looks forward to seeing every year. At the same time, new things pop up. For those of us doing the decorating it also whittles down what we add when there are so many things enticing us. Does it fit the theme? If not, someone else gets to put it up in their yard.

While it's not quite the same as being able to visit your house every year to see the changes, please continue to post every year so we can delight in watching how the display grows.

haha the thing is you can visit we live in the same city haha go figure. its all put away for this year but you will have to come check it out next year
