Your scarecrow looks fantastic! He is truly creepy (Jeepers Creepers!) and I love how realistic his hands are. Wonderful job!
I just used a styrofoam head from a beauty supply store. Stapled sponge foam(like egg crate foam) around the head tothicken it up because it was a smaller head, used a mish mash of various materials( whatever I had laying around) to bring out the facial fetures like the nose, chin, mouth, and wrapped it in burlap strips. Kind of an experiment really.how was the face done?
I know this thread has been quiet for quite some time, but I just love your scarecrow, and just came across it. Would you be willing to share the proportions you used on the PVC frame? I tried making a frame once before and it didn't have nearly the realistic proportions that yours does. Thank you in advance!I just used a styrofoam head from a beauty supply store. HAHAHAH....Thanks. AllI did for the size scaling of it is basically modeled it from my body size. I'm 5'10".All I did to measure myself was measure my torso, upper/lower arms, thigh/lower legs with just a tape measure and just factor in elbow and knee joints(couple inches). He ended up being, after all put together, an inch or so taller than me. Just a matter of guess-timating. Hope this helps.I know this thread has been quiet for quite some time, but I just love your scarecrow, and just came across it.
