I have been tinkering since after last Halloween on this prop idea along with other builds. He's about half done. I tried to mesh the Jeepers Creepers scare crow with my own ideas. I have a 16' post I am going to put him on come Halloween. I plan to double my props from last year. I'll keep you posted on the progress until finished.

All I did to make the hands is twisted 2 pieces of bailing wire to somewhat snug, then fold the twisted wire in half( basically its 2 wire folded and twisted together). Then I cut 1/2in rubber hose to make the finger girth size. The wire makes it so you can shape the hand to your prefence. Tthen tightly wrapped then with 2" wide burlap strips. Hope that makes any sense!

Great job. To me things like this are so more creepy than out & out gore, blood & guts props.

Because it looks so realistic, you expect it to suddenly move and jump at you. The longer it doesn't move the more you feel sure it will!

Thanks everyone for the great compliments!. I have been getting a lot of requests for a tutorial on how to make the hands for this project. I plan on posting one here in the next few days. Its very simple. Keep checking back.
